George Edgar Rose, 65, of Eatonville, died Thursday in Princeton, Idaho. Born in Kansas, he came to Eatonville in 1927 from Spanaway, where he had lived for six years. He was a retired boilermaker for the Birchfield Boiler Co., and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of Terrerstrial Lodge No. 228, F&AM; a past master of Benston Grange No. 893, and a member of the Veterans of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Marie, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Arlie M. Akers of Tacoma; two sons, Dwayne of Puyallup and Dan of Eatonville; a brother Roy, of Roseburg, Ore., and seven grandchildren. Services are announced today by Mountain View Funeral Home.
