Biography

Beloved husband, father, grand and great-grandfather, passed away at his home on Jan. 26, 2004. Born in Tacoma, Oct. 8, 1927. He is survived by Myra, his wife of 35 years; sons, Mike and Bill Rose; daughter, Deb Rose; stepsons, Denny and Don Morris; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his former wife, Amelia Rose; and sister, Arlie Ashmore.

Dwayne was known for being an active sports enthusiast and played all sports at Eatonville High and PLU. He was a teacher and Principal in the Eatonville School District in the 40's and 50's. He retired after 40 years in the life insurance business.

His passion was serving as leader of the Joygivers Senior Group at Rainier View Christian Church, where a memorial service will be held Fri., Jan. 30 at 1:00 PM, 12305 Spanaway Loop Rd. South, Tacoma, Wa. Donations can be made to the Joygivers fund or Charity of your choice in Dwayne's memory.
