Biography

Lived in Culpepper and Fauquir County, Virginia. He built a stone house still standing on route 702 near Marshall, Virginia. He is descended from a long line of Strothers going back 16 great grandfathers. One of his great grandfathers was Anthony Savage, ancestor of several presidenrts, who was in Hartford, Connecticut before 1680. His grandmother was Anne Marbury Hutchinson, the heritec, a founder of Rhode Island.
